Frequently asked questions
What is a transit chart?
It compares planet positions at a selected instant with the positions in your birth chart. This tool lists conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines and oppositions using the site’s standard aspect orbs.
Does the chart update automatically?
The empty form defaults to the current UTC date and time when loaded. A submitted result represents the chosen instant. Reload the form and recalculate for newer positions; results do not refresh in the background.
Do I need my birth time?
Planet contacts can be estimated with local noon. A birth time is required for natal houses and angles, and improves the accuracy of natal Moon contacts.
