Where the 11th house sits in the chart
The 11th house is a succedent house. Succedent houses (2nd, 5th, 8th, 11th) follow the angles and are associated with resources and what is built up. It corresponds to ♒︎ Aquarius in the natural zodiac. In Hellenistic astrology it was called the house of the Good Spirit, and it is the “joy” of Jupiter, the house where that planet was said to rejoice.
The Sun crosses every house once a day. Near an equinox at mid-latitudes, someone born around about 8 to 10 a.m. local solar time has the Sun in the 11th house.
