Frequently asked questions
What does “My sky today” show?
It compares the planets right now with your birth chart: the sign and natal house the Moon is crossing, the exact times the Moon touches your natal planets in the next 24 hours, and the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars contacts in the next week. Slower planets are listed as themes when they are within 1.5° of an aspect.
Where are my saved people kept?
Only in this browser’s local storage. Birth details are sent to our server to calculate each result and are not kept there. Clearing site data, or “Forget everyone saved on this device”, removes them.
How exact are the times?
Planet positions match NASA JPL Horizons to within about 20 arcseconds. Exact moments are interpolated from positions a few hours apart, so a listed time can be off by a few minutes.
Is this a horoscope?
It is a calculation, with one-line keywords from traditional astrology for each contact. Astrology has no demonstrated predictive power; treat it as reflection, not as a forecast.
